Merry Christmas/Gleðileg Jól

Merry Christmas and a happy 2013 to all of you! I hope the Yule Lads bring you what you want for Christmas.

For some reason I was given the chore of creating two Christmas cards at work, but I won’t subject you to those spectacularly uncreative efforts. You can enjoy a picture of the type of Northern Lights I hope to see one day instead!

Thanks for reading.

  1. Merry christmas, Eva. Like “maturestudent…” above, I’ve been fortunate enough to see some stunning Northern Light displays, in my case in Arctic Canada, in Greenland and one surprising night in Calgary. I hope your wish comes true, and you see them for yourself. Meanwhile, thanks for sharing this photo!

      • No good photos at all, not even rotten photos — I didn’t even try. But I have my stunningly wonderful memories — plus memories of seeing photos of northern lights from above them looking down, instead of below them looking up. That happened because I was travelling with a Canadian astronaut/NASA tour around the NWT, and in each hamlet they showed photos taken from space of northern lights over that particular community. Now there’s an angle we don’t normally get to see
